The Mariyam’s tomb is the resting place of Mariam Zamani (Heer Kunwar), the wife of great Mughal Emperor Akbar and the daughter of Raja Bharmal Kachhwaha of Amber. She died in Agra in 1623. This red sandstone tomb with beautiful curves was built in the year 1611. This tomb is placed in Sikandra, in the suburbs of the city, quite close to the tomb of Akbar the Great.
